  1. Jack Kerouac was an American novelist and poet. He was considered as an iconoclast pioneer of the Beat Genration in the 1950’s. His writings covered topics such as spirituality, jazz, promiscuity, drugs, poverty, travel… He inspired many celebrities and that is how it comes to the hippie movement. They were radical, rebellious and experimental. It was a social revolution period. They advocate the non-conformity culture. The most famous faces of the movement rose prominence and arnachism. It hasn’t only inspired people but also brands, literature, music, movie or ecology.

    The Beat Generation correspond to ” The Writer in his time ” LELE theme because it deals about Jack Kerouac who were fighting for values at his time

    “Les seules vraies personnes pour moi sont les fous, ceux qui ont la rage de vivre, la fureur de parler, d’être sauvés, désireux de tout au même moment, ceux qui ne baillent jamais ou disent des choses banales… mais qui brûlent, brûlent, brûlent… et qui rend tout le monde “Awww!”

    It relates to the Beat Generation spirit because these words are the fundamentals of the movement. He used the right terms to describe the Beatnik, the people who lives fully.
