Most negative points are associated with traditional fairy tale princesses, which shows how women in classical stories are ridiculed.

Modern day princesses are more assertive and powerful which can leave us more optimistic as to woman’s image in today’s society.

1- Highlight in BLUE positive features / in PINK negative features

2- Underline the features you associate with traditional fairy tale princesses.

3- Compare your answers in 1 and 2. Can you guess what we will be talking about?

4- Do you agree with any of these quotes? Why? Why not?

5- Can you name any princesses? Which one is your favourite? Why?

6- Final project: choose characters from traditional tale and their modern equivalents to perform your rap battle.

  1. In the last sentence Julian says “to be a princess is to always use your head” but at the beginning he says princess must be naive and follow the protocol. But I think the last sentence is just because for me a princess must be smart and independent.
